Description
Guajillo Pepper is one of the most loved chillies in Mexican cuisine. Mild, aromatic and full of character, it brings gentle heat together with fruity, woody and slightly herbal notes.
This dried chilli is ideal for anyone who wants more flavour than standard chilli flakes, but without overwhelming heat. With an intensity of around 10,000 Scoville heat units, Guajillo Pepper adds warmth, depth and colour to everyday cooking while remaining approachable for most spice lovers.
Use it in Mexican sauces, tacos, chilli con carne, bean dishes, marinades, BBQ rubs, slow-cooked meat dishes, stews and roasted vegetables. Its flavour pairs especially well with tomato, garlic, onion, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, beef, pork, chicken, beans and grilled vegetables.

How to use Guajillo Pepper
Add a small amount to sauces, marinades, spice rubs or slow-cooked dishes. For deeper flavour, combine it with garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, oregano, tomato or lime. It works especially well in Mexican-inspired recipes, but it is also excellent in BBQ seasoning blends and warming winter dishes.
