Description

A bright and invigorating organic yerba mate blend

Discover a vibrant combination of earthy yerba mate, warming ginger and refreshing citrus with Provence d’Antan Organic Ginger Lemon Yerba Mate Tea.

The naturally vegetal character of yerba mate creates a smooth base for the blend, while ginger adds a warm and gently spicy note. Hibiscus contributes a pleasant tartness, balanced by the fresh flavour of lemon peel, lime peel and natural lemon extract.

A subtle touch of black pepper gives the infusion extra depth and a delicate spicy finish without overpowering its refreshing citrus character.

This is an excellent choice for mornings, busy afternoons or any moment when you want a lively alternative to traditional black or green tea. It can be enjoyed as a warming hot infusion or prepared as a refreshing iced mate tea.

Flavour profile

The infusion has a fresh, layered flavour with:

  • vegetal and earthy notes from yerba mate,
  • warm spiciness from ginger,
  • gentle tartness from hibiscus,
  • bright lemon and lime aromas,
  • a subtle peppery finish.

The result is refreshing, aromatic and pleasantly stimulating, with a balanced flavour that is neither overly sweet nor excessively spicy.

Authentic flavours and botanical traditions from Provence

Provence d’Antan brings the aromas, flavours and character of southern France into the kitchen. The French brand specialises in organic teas and herbal infusions, aromatic herbs, spices, salts and Provençal specialities, combining traditional Mediterranean inspiration with carefully selected ingredients.

The family-owned company behind Provence d’Antan has worked with organic plant-based products since 1989, with the Provence d’Antan brand established in 2002 as the company expanded into herbs, seasonings and fine food products inspired by Provence.

One of the brand’s specialities is its range of aromatic herbs and authentic Herbes de Provence. Provence d’Antan states that its Herbes de Provence are grown in Provence, including crops near Sainte-Victoire, and its classic organic blend combines thyme, rosemary, savory and oregano.

Alongside herbs and spices, Provence d’Antan produces a broad selection of organic teas and herbal infusions, from traditional herbal blends to fruit, spice and wellness-inspired infusions.

At Leaf & Spice, we selected Provence d’Antan for customers who appreciate authentic French flavours, Mediterranean cooking and beautifully presented products with a strong connection to the traditions of Provence.
