Description
A Warming Organic Chai Infusion
Discover the comforting flavour of Provence d’Antan Organic Chai Herbal Tea, a naturally caffeine-free infusion inspired by traditional Indian chai.
The blend brings together five carefully selected organic spices: cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves and black pepper. Cinnamon provides a warm and gently sweet base, while ginger introduces a lively touch of heat. Cardamom adds a fresh, aromatic character, complemented by the deeper notes of cloves and a subtle peppery finish.
The result is a balanced and fragrant herbal chai that can be enjoyed throughout the day, including in the afternoon or evening.
Naturally Caffeine-Free
Unlike traditional masala chai made with black tea, this herbal chai contains no tea leaves and is naturally caffeine-free. It is an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys the flavour of chai but prefers to avoid caffeine.
Serve it hot on its own for a rich and warming infusion or combine it with warm milk or a plant-based alternative for a creamy chai-style drink.
Organic Spices with No Added Flavourings
The infusion is made from organically grown spices without artificial flavourings, sweeteners or preservatives.
Each ingredient contributes its own distinctive flavour:
- Cinnamon: warm, rounded and naturally aromatic
- Ginger: lively, warming and slightly spicy
- Cardamom: fresh, fragrant and gently citrus-like
- Cloves: deep, rich and aromatic
- Black pepper: subtle heat and a clean spicy finish
The blend is naturally vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free and nut-free.
Biodegradable Plant-Based Tea Bags
Each box contains 16 double-pocket tea bags designed to allow the spices to infuse evenly.
The tea bags are:
- Made from plant-based fibres
- Stitched rather than glued
- Free from metal staples
- Biodegradable and compostable after use
- Individually protected to help preserve flavour and aroma
The outer cardboard box is recyclable and printed using water-based inks.
How to Prepare Organic Chai Herbal Tea
For the best flavour:
- Place one tea bag in a cup.
- Add approximately 200 ml of freshly boiled water.
- Use water at a temperature of 95–100°C.
- Leave the tea to infuse for 6–8 minutes.
- Remove the tea bag and enjoy.
For a stronger and more intense chai, allow the tea to steep for the full eight minutes.
Serving Suggestion: Chai-Style Latte
Prepare one tea bag using approximately 100–150 ml of hot water and leave it to infuse for 6–8 minutes. Add warm milk, oat drink, almond drink or another plant-based alternative.
Sweeten with honey, maple syrup or brown sugar according to taste. For an extra aromatic finish, sprinkle a small amount of cinnamon over the top.
