A warming organic rooibos tea with orange and cinnamon
Provence d’Antan Organic Rooibos Orange & Cinnamon Tea combines the naturally mellow flavour of rooibos with vibrant orange, warming cinnamon and a delicate touch of lemon peel.
The result is a smooth and comforting infusion with woody, fruity and gently spiced notes. Cinnamon adds warmth without overpowering the drink, while orange and lemon provide a fresh citrus finish.
Because rooibos is naturally caffeine-free, this infusion can be enjoyed throughout the day. It is an excellent choice for an evening tea, a relaxing drink after dinner or a naturally caffeine-free alternative to traditional black tea.
What does it taste like?
The infusion has a balanced flavour profile combining:
- the naturally mild and slightly sweet character of rooibos,
- warm and aromatic cinnamon,
- juicy orange notes,
- a light citrus freshness from lemon peel.
It can be enjoyed without milk or sugar, although a small amount of honey may be added for extra sweetness.
Enjoy it hot or cold
This orange and cinnamon rooibos is particularly comforting when served hot during autumn and winter. Its citrus character also makes it suitable for preparing caffeine-free iced tea during warmer months.
For an iced version, brew two tea bags in approximately 300 ml of hot water, leave the tea to cool and serve over ice with a fresh orange slice.
How to prepare
- Place one tea bag in a cup.
- Add approximately 200 ml of freshly boiled water.
- Use water at a temperature of 95–100°C.
- Leave to infuse for 6–8 minutes.
- Remove the tea bag and enjoy.
Rooibos does not become as bitter as many traditional teas when steeped for longer, making this infusion easy to prepare.
