Three Organic Teas, One Distinctive Normandy-Inspired Gift
Discover a tea collection with a story.
The Tatasse Organic D-Day Tea Gift Set brings together three organic teas and infusions inspired by the landscapes and history of Normandy, France. Created by French tea brand Tatasse, the collection combines fruity freshness, aromatic citrus and the full-bodied character of traditional black tea.
Presented together as a coordinated gift collection, it makes an original choice for tea lovers as well as anyone with a connection to France, Normandy or European history.
The official set contains Les Alliés, Plages du Débarquement and God Save the Queen.
What Is Inside the Tatasse D-Day Tea Gift Set?
1. Les Alliés – Strawberry & Hibiscus Organic Fruit Infusion
Bright, fruity and approachable, Les Alliés combines the sweetness of strawberry with the pleasantly tart character of hibiscus.
The result is a refreshing fruit-forward infusion that provides a lighter contrast to the two black teas included in the collection.
Its naturally fruity personality makes it delicious served warm, while its strawberry and hibiscus character also makes it particularly suitable for preparing refreshing iced tea.
The blend is described by Tatasse retailers as naturally caffeine-free and suitable for enjoying throughout the day.
Flavour profile: fruity, strawberry, floral, lightly tart
Tea style: organic fruit/herbal infusion
Ideal for: afternoon tea, evening tea and iced tea
2. Plages du Débarquement – Organic Earl Grey Black Tea
The second tea brings one of the world’s most recognisable tea styles into the Tatasse Normandy collection.
Plages du Débarquement is an organic Earl Grey based on black teas from China and India, complemented by the fresh citrus character of bergamot. The result is a structured yet elegant black tea with a fragrant, persistent finish.
It is an excellent everyday tea and can be enjoyed in the morning, throughout the afternoon or prepared as an aromatic iced tea.
For the individual blend, Tatasse recommends approximately 2.5 g per 200 ml of water, 100°C water and 3–5 minutes of infusion.
Flavour profile: black tea, bergamot, citrus, aromatic
Tea style: organic Earl Grey black tea
Ideal for: breakfast, afternoon tea and iced tea
3. God Save the Queen – Organic English Breakfast Black Tea
Completing the collection is God Save the Queen, Tatasse’s interpretation of traditional English Breakfast.
This organic black tea has a deeper and more robust personality, with the characteristic malty profile associated with a classic breakfast tea. It can be enjoyed on its own or softened with a splash of milk.
Tatasse describes the tea as energising, robust and traditionally suited to the morning.
Flavour profile: rich, malty, structured, full-bodied
Tea style: organic English Breakfast black tea
Ideal for: breakfast and morning tea
From Fruity to Full-Bodied
One of the strengths of this tea gift set is the variety it offers.
Instead of giving three similar teas, the collection moves through three very different flavour profiles:
Fruity & refreshing → citrus & aromatic → rich & malty
That makes it a particularly appealing introduction to loose-leaf tea and gives the recipient several different teas to enjoy depending on the time of day and mood.
A Beautiful Gift for Tea Lovers
The Tatasse D-Day collection is much more than an everyday tea selection.
Its distinctive Normandy-inspired presentation turns the teas into a gift with personality, making it suitable for:
- birthdays
- Father’s Day
- Christmas
- thank-you gifts
- gifts for tea lovers
- gifts for Francophiles
- Normandy enthusiasts
- history enthusiasts
- corporate gifting
- special occasions
The combination of organic tea, French origin and distinctive presentation also makes it a strong alternative to conventional supermarket tea gift boxes.
