Description

A refreshing organic Sencha for everyday tea moments

Mabura Organic Green Sencha Tea is a pure loose-leaf green tea made with carefully selected tea leaves from controlled organic cultivation. It offers the fresh, clean and naturally vegetal character associated with traditional Sencha tea.

This versatile green tea is an excellent choice for your morning tea ritual, a light drink during the afternoon or a refreshing homemade iced tea. Because it contains no added flavourings or additional ingredients, you can enjoy the natural character of the tea leaves in every cup.

Pure organic green tea

The only ingredient is organically cultivated Green Sencha tea. The tea is produced without conventional chemical fertilisers or pesticides, making it a suitable choice for customers looking for a straightforward organic loose-leaf tea.

Ingredients: Green tea – Green Sencha – from controlled organic cultivation.

The official product page lists Green Sencha tea from controlled organic cultivation as the product’s ingredient.

Flavour profile

Sencha is known for its clean and refreshing taste. The infusion generally has a light vegetal character with gentle grassy notes and a pleasantly fresh finish.

To avoid excessive bitterness, use water below boiling point and do not steep the leaves for too long.

How to prepare Mabura Organic Green Sencha Tea

For one cup, use:

  • 2–3 g of loose-leaf tea
  • Approximately 250 ml of water
  • Water temperature of 70–80°C
  • Steeping time of 2–3 minutes

Allow freshly boiled water to cool before pouring it over the tea leaves. After steeping, remove the infuser or strain the tea completely.

For a lighter cup, reduce the steeping time. For a stronger flavour, use slightly more tea leaves rather than significantly extending the brewing time.

How to make iced Sencha tea

Prepare the tea slightly stronger than usual by using approximately 4–5 g of tea per 250 ml of water. Steep for 2–3 minutes, strain and allow the tea to cool.

Serve over ice with lemon, lime, cucumber, mint or a small amount of honey. You can also mix the chilled tea with sparkling water for a refreshing alcohol-free drink.

Storage instructions

Store the tea in a cool, dry and dark place. Keep the package tightly closed and protect it from moisture, heat, sunlight and strong-smelling foods.

For the best flavour, use a sealed tea container after opening.

Brand

Mabura

Mabura brings together organic ingredients, creative flavour combinations and a deep respect for nature.

Founded in Austria in 2017, Mabura Naturmanufaktur specialises in high-quality organic foods made without artificial additives. Its range includes aromatic single spices, distinctive spice blends, seasoning salts, BBQ seasonings, teas and other natural specialities.

Natural flavour with an Austrian character

Mabura's approach starts with carefully selected organic ingredients. The brand focuses on natural flavours and recipes designed to make everyday cooking more interesting, whether you are seasoning vegetables, meat and fish, preparing pasta, adding character to soups or experimenting at the barbecue.

Its spice blends combine ingredients and culinary inspiration from around the world, including aromatic herbs, chillies, coriander, paprika and other carefully selected spices. Mabura develops its own recipes with an emphasis on intense flavour and natural ingredients without unnecessary additives.

The collection ranges from versatile everyday seasonings to specialised blends for poultry, steak, vegetables, fish and BBQ dishes, alongside pure herbs and spices and creative seasoned salts.

Organic by philosophy

For Mabura, organic production is a central part of the brand philosophy. The company states that its ingredients come from controlled organic cultivation and that its products are made without artificial additives.

Sustainability also plays an important role. Mabura uses plastic-free packaging and CO₂-neutral shipping through Austrian Post. Its production facility was created by transforming an existing old barn at the foot of Hochosterwitz Castle in Carinthia, rather than constructing a completely new building.

The result is a brand that combines organic ingredients, imaginative recipes and Austrian craftsmanship with a modern approach to responsible food production.
