Description
Organic Green Tea with Strawberry & Hibiscus
Bring a little colour and fruitiness to your everyday tea ritual with Tatasse Hakuna Matatasse Organic Green Tea.
This cheerful loose-leaf blend combines two classic green teas – Sencha and Chun Mee – with strawberry, hibiscus, apple and rosehip. The result is a fresh, fruity tea with a smooth green tea base, sweet strawberry character and a gently tart floral finish.
It is an especially approachable choice for tea drinkers who enjoy green tea but prefer something more aromatic and fruity than a traditional pure green tea.
A Fresh Combination of Green Tea and Fruit
Hakuna Matatasse starts with a blend of Sencha and Chun Mee green tea.
Sencha contributes the fresh, delicate character expected from green tea, while Chun Mee adds additional depth to the infusion. These tea leaves are complemented by apple pieces and rosehip before strawberry and hibiscus bring the blend its distinctive fruity personality.
Strawberry adds a naturally indulgent berry character, while hibiscus provides a brighter, slightly tart contrast.
The combination creates a cup that feels refreshing, fruity and easy to drink without overwhelming the character of the green tea.
Strawberry, Hibiscus & Apple
Several complementary flavours develop as the tea infuses.
Expect:
- fresh green tea notes
- ripe strawberry character
- fruity apple
- gently tart hibiscus
- subtle rosehip
- a light and refreshing finish
It is a particularly enjoyable option for anyone searching for a fruit-flavoured green tea rather than a heavily sweet or dessert-style blend.
Delicious Hot or Iced
One of the great advantages of Hakuna Matatasse is its versatility.
Brew it traditionally for a warm afternoon cup, or prepare it as an iced green tea with strawberry and hibiscus during warmer weather.
For iced tea, brew the tea normally and allow it to cool before pouring it over plenty of ice. Add fresh strawberries, berries or a slice of lemon for a colourful summer drink.
You can also prepare a stronger infusion before pouring it directly over ice.

How to Brew Hakuna Matatasse Green Tea
For the best flavour:
Tea: 2.5 g
Water: 200 ml
Temperature: 70–80°C
Brewing time: 2–3 minutes
Avoid using boiling water directly on delicate green tea leaves. A slightly lower water temperature helps preserve the smooth, fresh character of the tea.
For a larger 400 ml pot, use approximately 5 g of tea.
