Description
Tatasse Parachutes Organic Green Tea
Bring a little more colour to your daily tea ritual with Tatasse Parachutes Organic Green Tea, a vibrant loose-leaf blend combining refreshing green tea with juicy citrus and pomegranate notes.
The tea begins with a carefully balanced base of Sencha and Chun Mee green teas, complemented by a touch of delicate Pai Mu Tan white tea. This creates a fresh, elegant foundation that allows the fruit flavours to shine without overwhelming the natural character of the tea.
Blood orange brings bright citrus intensity, while pomegranate adds a deeper fruity character. Mandarin provides a softer, sweeter citrus finish that rounds out the blend beautifully.
Hibiscus and cornflower petals introduce an attractive floral element, making Parachutes as enjoyable to look at as it is to brew.
A Fresh, Fruity Green Tea
Parachutes is an excellent choice for tea drinkers who enjoy green tea but want something more aromatic and fruit-forward than a traditional unflavoured Sencha.
Its combination of green tea, white tea and fruit makes the cup feel:
- Fresh
- Fruity
- Citrusy
- Lightly floral
- Smooth
- Aromatic
- Refreshing
Enjoy it as an afternoon tea, a refreshing accompaniment to a light meal or whenever you want a brighter alternative to traditional black tea.
Blood Orange, Pomegranate & Mandarin
The flavour profile revolves around three complementary fruits.
Blood orange gives the tea its vivid citrus character and pleasant fruity intensity.
Pomegranate adds depth and a slightly richer fruit note.
Mandarin softens the blend with a gentle citrus character and aromatic finish.
Together they create an expressive fruit profile while the Sencha, Chun Mee and Pai Mu Tan maintain the unmistakable character of real tea.
How to Brew Tatasse Parachutes
For the best flavour:
Tea: 2.5 g
Water: 200 ml
Water temperature: 70–80°C
Steeping time: 2–3 minutes
Avoid using boiling water directly on the leaves. The lower brewing temperature helps preserve the more delicate character of the green and white teas. The supplier recommends 2.5 g per 200 ml for 2–3 minutes at 70–80°C.
For a lighter cup, begin with a shorter infusion and adjust the brewing time according to taste.
