Description
A Fruity Organic Green Tea for Cosy Tea Moments
Tatasse Winter Holly Organic Green Tea is a colourful, aromatic loose-leaf blend created around two classic green teas: Sencha and Chun Mee.
Their fresh, gently vegetal character is complemented by the natural fruitiness of apple and strawberry, while hibiscus introduces a pleasantly bright and slightly tangy note. The result is a light and approachable green tea with a fruity personality that is easy to enjoy throughout the day.
Despite its winter-inspired name, Winter Holly Tea is not limited to Christmas. Its combination of green tea, berries and hibiscus makes it an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys refreshing fruit-forward green tea blends.
What Does Winter Holly Tea Taste Like?
The Sencha and Chun Mee base provides the characteristic fresh and lightly vegetal flavour associated with quality green tea.
Apple adds softness and roundness, strawberry brings gentle fruity sweetness, and hibiscus provides a subtle tart freshness.
Expect a cup that is:
- light and refreshing
- fruity rather than heavily sweet
- delicately vegetal
- gently tangy
- aromatic and easy to drink
The balance between green tea and fruit makes it particularly suitable for drinkers who find traditional unflavoured green tea too grassy or intense.
Sencha & Chun Mee Green Tea Base
Two recognised styles of green tea form the foundation of this blend.
Sencha contributes freshness and a clean vegetal profile, while Chun Mee adds additional character and depth.
Together they create a balanced foundation that allows the strawberry, apple and hibiscus notes to remain noticeable without overwhelming the tea itself.
Perfect for Autumn and Winter
Winter Holly Tea has been created with the colder months and festive season in mind.
Its fruity aroma and attractive metal presentation make it a particularly appealing choice for:
- autumn tea breaks
- winter afternoons
- Christmas tea collections
- festive breakfasts
- afternoon tea
- seasonal gift baskets
- tea gifts
- everyday loose-leaf tea drinking
Faire classifies the product for both Christmas and everyday occasions, with Winter and Holiday Season positioning.
How to Brew Tatasse Winter Holly Green Tea
Green tea tastes best when brewed with water that is cooler than boiling water.
For this blend, Tatasse recommends:
Tea: 2.5 g
Water: 200 ml
Water temperature: 70–80°C
Steeping time: 2–3 minutes
Avoid using freshly boiling water directly on the leaves, as excessively hot water can make delicate green tea taste more bitter.
For a slightly stronger cup, increase the amount of loose tea rather than significantly extending the infusion time.
