Description
A Bright Organic Green Tea Filled with Citrus
Fresh, fruity and wonderfully aromatic, Jardin d’Agrumes Organic Green Tea is a vibrant loose-leaf blend created for tea drinkers who enjoy refreshing citrus flavours without overwhelming the delicate character of green tea.
The blend begins with a combination of Sencha and Chun Mee green teas, producing a fresh, slightly vegetal foundation with the characteristic clean finish of quality green tea.
A small amount of delicate Pai Mu Tan white tea adds softness and refinement to the infusion.
The result is a beautifully layered tea that feels both refreshing and elegant.
Blood Orange, Mandarin & Pomegranate
The defining character of Jardin d’Agrumes comes from its combination of three complementary fruits.
Blood orange contributes a lively citrus character with a pleasantly tangy edge.
Mandarin introduces a softer, sweeter citrus aroma that rounds out the sharper orange notes.
Pomegranate brings additional depth and fruitiness, preventing the tea from becoming simply another citrus-flavoured green tea.
Together, they create a fresh, expressive cup that works particularly well during spring and summer but is delicious throughout the year.
A Touch of Floral Elegance
Hibiscus flowers and cornflowers complement the fruit and tea leaves, introducing attractive floral notes and giving the loose-leaf blend a colourful premium appearance.
Lemongrass provides another layer of freshness, while natural mandarin oil enhances the bright citrus aroma.
The final cup is fresh, lightly fruity and aromatic without becoming excessively sweet.
Premium Sencha, Chun Mee & Pai Mu Tan Tea Blend
Rather than relying on a single tea base, Jardin d’Agrumes combines three styles of tea.
Sencha Green Tea
Sencha provides freshness, smoothness and a clean green-tea character.
Chun Mee Green Tea
Chun Mee contributes greater structure and a slightly more distinctive traditional green-tea profile.
Pai Mu Tan White Tea
Pai Mu Tan adds delicacy and softness, helping balance the stronger citrus and pomegranate flavours.
This combination creates a more sophisticated cup than a conventional flavoured green tea.
How to Prepare Jardin d’Agrumes Green Tea
For the best balance of flavour and aroma:
Tea: approximately 2.5 g
Water: 200 ml
Water temperature: 70–80°C
Steeping time: 2–3 minutes
Avoid using fully boiling water. Lower-temperature water helps preserve the delicate characteristics of green and white tea while reducing excessive bitterness.
For a lighter cup
Use approximately 2 g of tea and steep for around 2 minutes.
For a stronger cup
Use approximately 2.5–3 g while keeping the brewing time below approximately 3 minutes.
Adding more tea rather than dramatically increasing the steeping time usually produces a fuller cup without unnecessary bitterness.
Also Delicious as Iced Green Tea
Its combination of blood orange, mandarin and pomegranate makes Jardin d’Agrumes particularly suitable for refreshing iced tea.
Prepare the tea slightly stronger than normal, allow it to cool and serve over ice.
Add a slice of fresh orange or mandarin for an easy summer drink.
For an even more refreshing version, serve with:
- fresh orange slices,
- mint leaves,
- pomegranate seeds,
- lemon,
- or sparkling water.
When to Enjoy It
Jardin d’Agrumes is an excellent choice for:
- morning tea,
- afternoon tea,
- warm spring days,
- summer iced tea,
- refreshing work breaks,
- serving to guests,
- or anyone looking for an alternative to traditional plain green tea.
Its fresh citrus profile makes it particularly appealing to customers who find pure green tea slightly too vegetal or austere.
